Bad night last night, my iPhone was stolen. That’s just great. I can’t contact anyone until I get a new phone. I was supposed to be photographing Tara & Conor today too and I’ve no way of contacting them… great. Just wonderful.
Good news though, I got an internship in Savas Studios for the summer. The place looks amazing. I’m so excited to start. Hopefully I’ll get more experience there then I did when I was with D-Light…
Boston baby! :D
I hate when people who don’t know what they’re talking about criticise for something that is totally logical and RIGHT. I’m a photographer and watermarking images is what I’m going to have to do when I’m actually doing this as my full time job, people wondering why the image is watermarked and doing it in such a way that it’s deemed a critique amazes me… I just don’t understand it. Criticism of my work cannot be avoided (and with the aforementioned person, probably won’t) but I’d much prefer if that criticism was CONSTRUCTIVE rather than just CRITISING to CRITICISE… I don’t get it.
Rant aside… here’s photographs from the studio shoot the other day.
Going to organise a photo-shoot for Saturday, I have so many ideas I want to try out, but haven’t had the time to. So I’m excited! Going to revisit my photography portfolio photo-shoot as well, to see how I’ve improved. Busy busy busy… :D
I found photographs I’d taken of Gwen’s daughter last August, with her camera & her studio set-up, they’ll be up here as soon as I edit them.
I also found an instruction manual for my Lomography camera. The first time I tried to use it, the film didn’t expose… second time it got stuck & I had to take it out… So hopefully this will help…
Just finished a studio shoot with Sarah, went OK all things considered… shots will be up here as soon as I edit them. She wanted the photos straight off the memory card, which is completely bad practice, but I couldn’t say anything to her seeing as she demanded them off me…
Anyway, photos will be uploaded here ASAP.
I just organised another photo-shoot with Sarah for during the week. I still have some ideas I didn’t get to try out with the last shoot for this one. Hopefully it’ll go the way I want it to. The photos will be up on here sometime soon afterwards. Hopefully Ian will oblige and be in photographs again, I have a few ideas that I need two models for and they’re both off for a week next week, which is when we were going to do it. The only thing is though, I’ll also need Ian’s airsoft rifle… so we’ll need to do the photographs indoors… I have some thinking to do… hmmm.
Here’s the first Photography project I did in college.
